Subscript Generator
Subscript lowers characters below the baseline using Unicode subscript letters and digits.
How to use it
Common for chemical formulas such as H2O and for mathematical notation.
Good to know
These characters are text, not a font file, so nothing is installed and nothing is sent to a server. Screen readers read many of them literally or skip them, so avoid styled text in headings, alt text and anything that has to be accessible or searchable.
FAQ

No. The output is made of Unicode characters that already exist in the standard, so it travels with the text when you copy it. That is also why some platforms show a few characters as boxes: their font has no glyph for that character.
Usually yes, as long as the app or game accepts special characters. Some platforms reject them in names, and search engines cannot read them, so keep normal text for anything that needs to be found.
